  • Service Supervisor - Duluth, MN and St. Paul, MN

    As a Service Supervisor, you will provide leadership, supervision and perform a variety of duties related to coordination of the Cloud Services department. Responsibilities include: providing unsurpassed customer service to meet client needs, coordinating the resolution of technical issues related to customer problems/requests, supervising technical team members and related human resource responsibilities, collaborating with other departments within Compudyne to coordinate client request/projects, coordinating/evaluating technologies for Compudyne and related client requests/projects, evaluating the documentation of teams’ work to ensure correct billing, conducting research and working with management to develop and improve communication and work processes. All development and implementations will be conducted in accordance with standards set forth by Compudyne and other information technology standards.

    Primary Responsibilities 

    • Provide leadership, direction and strategic management to Compudyne Cloud Services team
    • Supervise to ensure the most accurate and efficient use of technical staff time and resources
    • Work with staff and management to improve communications and work processes for the technical team and other stakeholders
    • Develop project strategy, facilitate project objectives and adhere to principles of project management to achieve project results
    • Be responsible for personal and professional development to ensure continued growth, development, and have the ability to assist with leading the Compudyne and co-workers in the future with the development of technology and business trends


    Going in you should have a strong background in Information Technology with high level of communication skills, and an Associates’ degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent education/experience. Two years working in Information Technology and some leadership roles and responsibilities are required. This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relations with co-workers and clients.

  • Client Success Manager - Duluth, MN

    As a Client Success Manager, you work in Compudyne’s Strategic Services Department.  You’ll perform a variety of duties related to maintaining and enhancing the relationship between strategic clients and Compudyne.  You will be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication between our clients and Compudyne to ensure proper planning of IT resource needs.  You’ll offer financial guidance, and analyze client IT requirements, business system gaps, resolve problems with automation, improve existing procedures, systems and workflows and develop efficient solutions.  Design solutions with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.


    • Background is Information Technology with a focus around future planning and/or IT Budgeting
    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent experience
    • Required Experience: 5+ years of IT experience
    • Other: Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable mode of transportation to customer sites.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Work with Client Leadership to strategically plan IT needs associated with Business Goals
    • Ensure Client environmental detail is accurate, including: detailed documentation for Technical Business Reviews
    • Work with clients on Financial Guidance and Budget Analysis specific to each client and future forecasting
    • Maintain an environment where hardware and software are under a current maintenance contract
    • Promote growth of Compudyne’s recurring revenue product base as it fits within the client’s needs
    • Create and review reports such as IT Strategic Plan, Hours Used Report, Patch Health Report, IT GAP Analysis, etc.

  • Systems Engineer - St. Paul, MN

    • Strategically design, implement and support high availability systems
    • Deploy Cloud Migration
    • Professionally administer routing, switching and fault tolerance solutions
    • Design, build and implement virtual stacks
    • Perform Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange migrations
    • Deploy and administer systems and virtualization solutions
    • Implement and troubleshoot mission critical IT systems
    • Work with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V technologies

    Desired Experience

    • Extensive experience deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting complex server hardware including blade technologies

    • Knowledge of full range of distributed messaging, email, active directory, middleware, application integration, web services, collaboration, content & knowledge management, systems management and related operating systems


    • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering/architecture.
    • 1 or more certifications; MCSE, MCITP, MCSA, VCP, CCNA or related educational experience
